Mediation Services
Having led large operational and HR teams, I know first-hand how much time is spent on workplace disputes. Unresolved, they cost much more than lost productivity. They impact mental health, can cause absence, stress, low morale, dis-engagement of teams, and increased turnover and reputational damage. Research from the CIPD shows that individuals will often struggle with conflict for months before seeking help (such as speaking with HR teams). That’s why mediation is so incredibly powerful. Mediation helps stop these issues before they escalate.

Workplace Mediation – A Smarter Way to Resolve Conflict
Mediation is a practical, cost-effective way to resolve workplace disputes quickly and confidentially. It helps those who are in conflict communicate openly, explore solutions, and reach agreements that work for everyone involved. It’s often described as a form of informal or alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Unlike formal grievance or tribunal processes, mediation is flexible, voluntary, and focused on preserving relationships. It is a voluntary process, but it has increasingly become part of the litigation process, with courts strongly encouraging its use.
What is Workplace Mediation?
Workplace mediation is an informal but structured process where an impartial mediator helps those in dispute talk through issues and find common ground. The mediator facilitates discussion but does not make decisions—the outcome is entirely in the hands of the participants.
Key Principles
Confidential
Everything said during mediation stays private unless all parties agree otherwise. Mediation is confidential and without prejudice
Voluntary
Everyone must agree to take part. The mediator guides the process, but the parties control the outcome. Agreements are voluntary and not legally binding but are made with a moral voluntary commitment
Empowering
Participants decide what works best for them. Agreements are made in good faith and tailored to the situation
